Do you have suggestions for how to get started on my own? |
Whether your home is large or small, vacant or lived in, the cost of Staging the home is very reasonable compared to the potential benefit, and is certainly less costly than the amount of a price reduction on the home, if it doesn’t sell quickly. Our reasonable prices and flexible plans are arranged to suit any budget. If your home needs lots of “deferred maintenance”, then it may be best to take out a home equity loan to make the repairs. Please note, banks will generally not allow you to take out a home equity loan if your home is on the market, so it is much easier to do this before your put your home on the market! We will soon have credit card processing available. Please ask about it. You may also qualify for a low-interest credit card that can be used for Staging services and at Retail establishments that can be paid off at Closing, when your home sells. |

Stage It…Show It...Sell It! |

In addition to our Staging services, we also have an inventory of quality furniture and decorative items to either augment your existing furnishings, or to Stage a vacant home. We also work with several Furniture Rental providers who have a variety of available furnishings. |
The cost to Stage a home varies, much as the cost to buy a home varies. It depends on many factors, including the size of the home, the current condition of the home, whether furniture and accessories need to be rented or purchased. My prices start at just $100 for a one hour quick consult (travel costs may apply.) My hands-on Stage-It-Now fee for 2 hours of active Staging (with your help) is just $250. A complete Staging Consultation costs $350 for a 3000 square foot home. A full Staging of a lived-in home (no rentals) starts at $600 and complete Staging of a vacant home can cost anywhere from $3000 and up. |
Before buyers decide to buy, they need to mentally move their own things into a home. If a home has too much or too little in it, it is difficult for most buyers to visualize how their own things will look in the home. Your home has to compete favorably with other homes on the market. It is a product now, so you have to package it for your potential market. Buyers are busy. They are tired. They have looked at lots of homes – many of which are NOT “move in ready.” If you make their job easy...by making your home move-in ready and by highlighting the features of your home that they want … then you are one step closer to “SOLD!” |
